Hello! I’m Afua Fosua Ayiku.

Welcome to Hands Lifted High.

I have had this burning desire to start a blog for as long as I can remember, but I persistently ignored the feeling. Allowing fear to control me, I pushed away the idea. Until…well, until I could no longer do so.

Hands Lifted High is a testimony and offering to God for giving me a new life in Christ.

When I was 19, I made the decision that I was tired of the life I was living and the continual cycles of sin I was enjoying. By the grace of God alone, I am not the same person I was. When I compare who I was, to who I am now, I know all the praise can only go to God. 

Now all all I want to do is shout from a rooftop about the redemptive power of God, through His son – that’s where this blog plays a part. Majority of this blog contradicts the lifestyle of a sinner to the lifestyle of a believer, using the Bible and my personal experiences to point each reader to the Saviour – Jesus Christ. I advice, discuss and rant about a wide range of topics that constitute the life of a believer.

I am no where near perfect. I am still on a journey of transformation, surrender and purification. It is my earnest prayer that as you join me on this journey, you will embrace your journey of surrender.

God pulled me from a place of despair and destruction. If you will allow Him, He can do the same for you.

Just as I have, I pray you also come to place of total surrender; with your  Hands Lifted High.
